I hear there's a new boss in charge. He's got credentials too - class winner of the recent Eastern States Championship in Ohio.

Thank you Charles for the intro. Yes, I'll be the handling next years ALSCCA rallycross season with the help of some knowledgeable others. I want to thanks in advance to Ron Foley, Charles Wright, Shea Serian & other SCCA board members. Next years goal is to have well organized events & socials to promote the SE rallycross scene towards a National competitive & well known region for all regional divisions. I want to show the rest of the nations regions how enjoyable & competitive events in the SE division can be. ALSCCA has lots of die-hard volunteers & supporters of motor sports, from amateur to Pro racing. Together with the help of ALSCCA, TVR,TAC, Memphis region rallycross & even individuals from GA, I know we can make 2010 a new future for the SE Rallycross Division.

The new boss gave the RallyX-7 it's 1st ever whippin. Today was the 1st time that either Shelton or I didn't finish 1st in class. We didn't finish 2nd either. The BMW grabbed spots 1 and 2. Congrats Edwin.

Thanks Charles. Yes, the BMW is much easier to drive now with the LSD. I was suprised you & Shelton had a not so good day. I think new tires would have helped the cause. Either way it was a great day for Rallycross. I want to thank everyone who came out today. Next event should be TVR in Dec. Hope to see everyone there....

Thanks for a great event. It seems like it always rains at Steele, but this Sunday was perfect. Sunny skies and a cool start turned into a 75 degree afternoon. The course was the best we've ever had. After 4 runs in the morning, the decision was made to run the afternoon course in reverse and make it a two lapper! So the afternoon times were almost 2 minutes per run and we got three! Nice fast course and everyone had a blast. Special thanks to Tim Boyette for letting me take the M4 Impreza on a fun run. The car is amazing! I was 6 seconds faster on a two minute lap than I was in my car! (may have been 10 or 12 sec if I was used to the car)

                      11/8/09 Steele Rallycross Run Times

Check out the times. Chris was clean the whole day; he didn't hit one cone. Tim was very very consistent (Thanks for the laps Tim, your car is awesome). Ron is always consistent and always wagging that tail. Luke & Charles...what a battle for 2nd. Your times were so close. Shelton, you're a great driver but somebody had to be the cone magnet at this event. Thanks guys. It was a great time.

No problem. Glad you guys had a blast. I'll still be around especially after a fun run in Tim's car I had almost forgotten how much fun it is.

Tim, nice video. Now I know how you are so fast! You keep it straight ahead, very little sideways action!
