Little Tally June 20th - This SATURDAY!

Wasn't sure if anyone was interested but.... I know short notice.....

Georgia Regional Mustang Club is hosting an open track event June 20th at Talladega Gran Prix. Beginners always welcome. Instructors will be available. More info on the club website www.atlantamustangclub.com. $185.00 for the full day. Half days are available. Can also split registrations between two cars. 4 run groups - no more than 9 cars at a time. Right now I have groups of 6. Everyone should get at around 1.5 hrs of track time. Free Lunch for everyone. Passengers allowed.

Hope to see everyone there! Free admission for spectators and crew.

We will have everything from Vipers to New Camaros to Hondas and of course Mustangs. I'll be taking out my miata for the first time.

You do know they charge $5 at the gate for everyone including drivers? Just a heads up if not.

Not aware of this. It wasn't in our contract and Upchurch didn't mention it.

I'll check tomorrow and post again if there is something new.

They sprung it on us a couple of days before our 2 day Time Trial event. Call Katrina and ask about it.

John I'm the one that bought the miata roll bar from you at Barber and it fit great. I appreciate the deal John. We will have the car there on Saturday making it's maiden voyage on the track.

Hey Patrick! Yes, I recognized the screen name. Glad it worked out well for you. Have fun at the track, I wish I could be there this weekend but I've got to get ready for the Nashville Speedway SARRC race next weekend.

Just had a worker spot open up. ($30 plus half day waiving flags = half day of track time for you!) Still have full and half day available as well.

Made it thru the track day intact! We were able to break even on the event so all in all it was a good day. I would have bet good money that fathers day weekend would have been a great day for a track event, but....

Upchurch said almost every group that rented the track this year has either lost money or just barely broke even. Numbers are way down for everyone.

Thanks for tolerating my post for the last week or so. I'm not normally a heavy forum poster, but I will be checking back frequently.
