  • Santa Run PDX and Driving School at TGPR 12/7

Who: You and your friends hosted by ALSCCA.

What: Full day of track time in your car and classroom instruction.

    When: Saturday December 7, 2013

    Where: Talladega Gran Prix Raceway

How: Sign up and show up. Registration link below.

Cost: $140 and 2 TOYS for kids ($5-10ea)

It has been my vision for some time to offer proper track time with professional instruction to our local members (and prospective members). I hope everyone will join in regardless of skill level or experience. Cost and registration information will come soon, but you can be sure the cost will be a fraction of what you would pay for a driving school anywhere else.

We will have an advanced group and race prepped cars will be allowed, but this is a driving school and not a test and tune. We will not be able to accommodate open wheel cars for this event.
All street cars are welcome. Convertibles will need to have an approved roll bar or hard top.

I'm in, I've missed too many track days already. If this one happens I won't miss it.

Count me in. Anyone at Barber this weekend with Tracks Unlimited? If so, let me know.

Back to the original subject - is this definitely an SCCA-sanctioned PDX, or an independent track day?

What are your plans for event staff? FWIW, it's very unlikely that I'll be available.

I am. Just went through tech and parked it on the lower tier past the middle.

Chuck, this will be an SCCA event although the paperwork is not in yet, hence no registration.

Our need for workers will be minimal but I will be reaching out to you for recommendations in your absence.

I have to see if I can get someone to switch work days with me. Just installed my roll bar and padding. I really want to make this one.
