TGPR Track Day

I am getting some interest from a few of my customers about doing a private track day at TGPR. Who else in the Bham area would be interested in some track time.

Theoretically:

Held on a Thurs or Friday
Two groups of drivers, Novice/Newbys, (street cars) and the experienced drivers with race cars mixed in.
This will be a good test session for race cars for the upcoming Road Atlanta time trial

I am debating a classroom session for some of the new drivers

Depending on how equipped the car has to be, I'm interested. Working on the engine now; haven't yet reached the interior.

AS long as you show up with a helmet, its on you to bring the level of safety equipment you feel comfortable with. If you are wanting an instructor to ride with you, I expect a reasonable level of safety equipment.

I need to talk to the track owner but I think May 30th will be the day. I have had a couple of folks ask about that day. Plus it will give you a long weekend if you take of Thurs and Friday before Memorial Day.

What Rod said, if you did the 23rd then you'd get the long weekend if you took Thursday and Friday off. I like the 23rd.
