Run (sanction) the test day as a non-points TT. Racers can still test & tune.

Just chkd the "worker" list an we can still use some more "HELP".
Corners in particular... and another starter would be nice. Our OJT program is above reproach.

11 registered for T&S, and only 10 registered for F&C. 1 at Start, 1 on pit road. Yeah, we could use a few more hands.

I got this from Miles Phillips, today, in fact:

The HOD is 2 weeks away, June 26/28, hope everybody can make it. I have some
          information to pass along.

If you are not camping at the track and have not made hotel reservations
yet, we have a speacial rate ($50 a night) at Sleep Inn & Suites 150 S
Eastgate Ct, Lebanon Tn. To get this rate you must call
Debi Baxter at 615-449-7005 M/F 8 to 5 and ask for the SCCA HOD rate.
Worker reimbursement will be after the last race on sunday. The rate will
          be:
Fri. (test day) $35 for any license grade
          Sat. Reg. $25
          Div. and Nat. $35
          Sun. Reg. $20
          Div. and Nat. $30
Lunches will be provided Sat. and Sun. I will have to ask about Fri.
There will be track touring at lunch Sat. and Sun.

I still need F&C workers for Friday (test day) if you can work Friday
          please let me know.

Hope to see you at a track soon.
          Miles

Congratulations to John W8, he got second on Saturday and First on Sunday in ITA. This was John's first weekend of wheel to wheel and he did an outstanding job.

Congratulations to John W8. He was an excellent driver and still a good guy even after his win. FWIW, If I recall correctly Richard Pannell qualified with a 1.12.2 for Saturdays race. That is .3 below the track record but did not reset the record since it was only qualifying. That is TOUGH competition for W8 and he drove the wheels off of his Miata. Good Job!!

For those of you that didn't make it this year, start planning on it for next year. IT was good close racing for those that could make it
