YES....Got at RA about noon local Thursday, Got home at 11:30AM Friday During towing my car on an open trailer, the tethers tend to loosen and allow the car to rock back and forth. Between the trips to RR and RA, it caused the eyeball arm pocket to fail and the arm to fall off!!! Needless to say, we were done for the weekend. A word of caution for those of you that tether your car by the wheels.....learned my lessonComment

Yikes! That’s why I use the factory tie downs when I tow. The straps wiggle loose and have to be snugged up occasionally but it doesn’t put too much load on the suspension.John W8

I always use j-hooks and the factory tie down slots on BMWs. And anything else with the frame slots.Rod H
