In search of a Registrar

The Alabama and Tennessee Valley Regions are in need of a registrar for our Club race in August.
There are opportunities for training at Road Atlanta in March for the Majors and again in July for the Double SARRC race.

The club has offered to cover travel and hotel expenses in order to help with your decision to become a registrar.

Registrars also need helpers. Have someone coming to the track with you who hates sitting around? Volunteer to help Registration - get paid and fed.

The Regions need people to volunteer to be Registrars, Scrutineers, F&C, Timing, and many more specialties. Without these volunteers, the Barber race cannot possibly take place.

It's embarrassing that there are currently fewer than a handful of folks from Alabama registered for the Majors race in Atlanta, this month, when we depend on them so much to help our race weekend be successful.

Head on over and get some experience, so you can be a better participant at our race, and have a great time at both events!

(We need to do a dedicated post on this but,) At the last board meeting we decided to offer incentives (such as an autocross season pass) to anyone willing to commit to training for a licensed official job (registrar, scrutineer, steward etc.) as well as travel expenses to attend events for training. More info to come....
