It was backfiring in the intake and exhaust like it's a timing problem ... but now I think the Megasquirt itself is messed up. I'm not getting a tach signal and I can't connect with my laptop. I think it's time to dump this MS1 junk and order an MS2 or 3. Tired of dealing with this stupid thing.

Only two cars showed up for tech day yesterday. Not really worth Richard's time for just two. I'm very disappointed in the turnout and will think long and hard about doing it next year.

I assume you had a bunch of no-shows. Otherwise you would have known in advance about the low turnout. Not much can be done if everyone isn't ready on your schedule I guess.

Rod, yes, but it is not my schedule. Richard is out of the country now. I/we make this work to his schedule since he has to drive 90+ miles to accommodate us. To make the first events each year, the annuals need to be done around the first of Feb. That window was unavailable.

Hopefully the guys we have on the scrutineer path will continue such that we'll have our own person one day.

I'm trying to get the ability to do TT logbooks and TT annuals. The idea of us getting a national level scrutineer to do RR annuals and issue new logbooks seems impossible in today's club. Unless you travel, A LOT, there simply aren't the opportunities to practice the license. I've suggested that SCCA develop an online classroom sort of thing to get the book knowledge and gather information from the elder scrutineers in the club, so it's not lost when they retire. Combine that with hands-on experience at tracks and I think getting a scrutineers license would be more readily attainable.

Hopefully one day I can get me divisional. Just more hands on and learning. I would like to help you out there john. But like you said there's no easy way to get it.

I thought after you pushed 100 cars on the scales you got your license. Have they raised the number?

Yeah I've got my regional, I've just got to figure how to obtain the next level.

I'm near Nashville and in the TN Region. I try to check your forums but haven't lately. It's my fault. I just got the CRX ready. I'd like to get it tech before taking it to VIR since it hasn't been raced since 2002.
