  • Barber timing online

The Labor Day club race went live at 8 am this morning. Keep up with the action by downloading the free app, race-monitor. Find it in the App Store or online at www.race-monitor.com. Barber is on the home screen under free races. Check it out!

Would like your feedback on whether or not using Race Monitor was a good idea.

I enjoy following along while I'm on the road.

I rely on race monitor for info on lots of races.

I watched it a good bit over the two days. I guess it would depend on what it cost for those two days before I could say whether it was worth it or not.

Academically, I saw Mark's post that we could install and watch it for free, but I was so excited being so close to the action working F&C that it slipped my mind.

(not that I ought to be checking my phone while I'm working, not a 'pro' yet)

From a participant's standpoint Race Monitor was a great idea. I had not used it before but it quickly became the way I checked my own results as well as kept up with friends. Thanks for making it available.

I would've been using it all weekend if I had remembered that I had downloaded it. I've used IndyCar's live timing in the past to help keep up with what was going on while at the track, help remember who's in which cars, etc.

Not a good idea in a corner station during a session, though, since eyes should be on the activity on track. Nice for a quick status update between the action, though.
