If something happened where the weekend was a PDX/TT/ECR/Limited Regional (IT), what do you think the response of the classes being "left-out" would be? Since you do both TT and RR, would you still be inclined to come and do a TT event? Or would you rather do a Road Race?

I do not think a PDX/TT/ECR/IT would draw enough entries to be viable. Take a look at the number of ECR and IT entries at any of the races, there are not enough.

I road race for a couple of reasons. First is that I like to compete for the SARRC Championship. Second is that I get to run more tracks that we do at TT. The people are great.

I also like TT. We get more track time in a TT than in a road race. The people are great. I actually enjoy being the Event Chair for the TGPRs but it makes for a very busy weekend.


Whether or not I come to a TT is a matter of finances, time and priorities at the given moment. At a TT, I am only competing against myself and for FTD. Frequently at a SARRC, I am the only DSR so I race someone else, whomever is around me.

Re RR, I am waiting to see what the new SR2 class turns out to be. I would hope to be competitve there and get to run more Nationals.
