Memphis ????

Hey guys. I was looking thru the Sportscar and noticed a listing for a National race
at Memphis Motorsport. I haven't been on the circuit in a long time and thought that
they had closed that race track? I suppose it is the same one I ran a REALLY long time
ago that is close to the airport where the front straight is the dragstrip correct? Just
wondering if anyone knows for sure.

Yep. that's the same track. I think NASA has an event coming up soon in Memphis but I'm not sure.

Memphis Motorsports Park is now Memphis International Raceway. New owners are the same folks who own Palm Beach International Raceway.

Announcing the First Annual Rational/Rational (we hope for more than one) at Memphis International Raceway.

This year's event will see a dramatic change in format. Mid South Region jumped onto the Rational bandwagon and then decided why not make it a double. So, come help us put on a great event. As always we're holding a big "Memphis Barbeque" feast on Saturday night. All you can eat pulled pork is something special around here so come over, up, down, or any direction to enjoy some racing action and enjoy of the festivities.

Worker registration will soon be on MotorsportReg.com, but we would really like to know if you can come help out. If you plan on attending, please send an email message to the Mid South Region's Race Chair, Bud Brazelton so we can be sure and set a plate for you. The region is also working on a few other interesting thank you incentives and getting a good volunteer count now will facilitate our planning. Bud's email is racerbud@gmail.com.
