my son is in the hospital so I probably wont make it afterall. He got a stomach virus and drove his bloodsugar nuts so we had to put him in childrens .

Sorry to hear this Ricky. Tell Matt we're thinking about him. I had the same issue over Thanksgiving with my Dad. He got the flu and went goofy and had his bloodsugar drop down waaaaaayyy low. He got to spend some quality time with some lovely nurses in Indiana tho.

Yeha its just the oposite with Matt . Since he couldnt keep anything down. we didnt give him insulin so that drove his sugar way high like 500 and higher which just made him even sicker and dehydrated . Darned if you do and darned if you dont . With diabetics it is just a very bad thing when you cant keep anything on their stomach . The Phenagrin may have worked but it was oral so he would throw that up before it would even stay there long enough to be absorbed ....but he is doing good now . They just want to keep him there till they are sure he is better.
