If you want to be outside, but in a low-pressure situation, Sound Control is a good fit. Once the equipment is set up, you get to enjoy the cars driving by without having to worry about how to react to a spin or other time-sensitive problem on track. It's mostly clerical work, and simple clerical work, at that.
