    An email I received from the Atlanta Flag Chief:
    ===========
    BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK DOUBLE SAARC AND PRO-IT.
    LABOR DAY WEEKEND, SEPTEMBER 4TH AND 5TH

    F&C volunteers are needed for the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend at the Barber Motor Sports Park, Birmingham AL. Still gives you the Monday Holiday to enjoy the family fun. This event is held jointly by the Atlanta Region and Alabama Region. This track is great, like a park setting. Take a look for yourself at www.barbermotorsports.com/flash-map.php the interactive map of the track. This is a must see track if you have never been there; a fun track for both drivers and volunteers. Sign up on www.MotorsportReg.com.

    Don Drennon will be Flag Chief at the event again this year. Please refer questions to me as I will be collecting the questions and working with Don to staff the event.

    I will let you know as soon as I hear anything about discounts at area hotels.

    The double worker incentive will be provided to volunteers.
    Regional and Divisional License holders- $40.00 per day;
    National License holders - $60.00 per day.

    Any questions please let me know and I will try to respond with answers as soon as I can.

    Play Save, Have Fun,

    Bob

      Just registered... I'll be there Friday & Saturday.... Is that the same Don Drennon that owns the dealerships in town?.... What is he a celebrity?

        Nope, this Don spells his Drennon with an "O," instead of an "E."

        He's no car dealer but he may be considered a celebrity in the SEDiv flagging world.
