Really appreciate the drivers and workers from ALSCCA coming up and playing at NSS - good luck to all and wishes of cool air towards ya.
We still have room for workers and drivers even if you can only make one day of it.

Guys ...my dad is in the VA with Heart issues . I am hoping his tests show contrary to their initial findings but it could lead to my not making it to Nashville this next weekend . It is Fathers Day so I am thinking that if my Dad is in need, I need to stay around here. Ill let you know how it goes.

Thanks everyone......Dad is a tough ole dude (marine)so I am pretty confident he is going to be fine .I appreciate your support. I went and visited him this afternoon and he was bragging that he gave the nurses the slip this morning and walked up 6 flights of stairs to see if they knew what they were talking about and didnt even get winded (so he said).he has never been one to imbelish<wink>

The car is running but I haven't got it tuned yet and I haven't had a chance to drive it with the new suspension. I had hoped to make the test day on friday but work won't allow me to get away for a testing the racecar.

I had no plans of following you at all this weekend Chuck. I had plans of leading. You know since you've not been there before

You'll see me there, I'll be the one waving the blue flag at you.

                  Good luck this weekend!

Chuck Baader won ITA handily on both days and Steve Patterson got 3rd on Saturday after starting at the back of the pack. "Pass under yellow?! What Yellow?" and Steve flatted out of the most competitive race on sunday after defending his position for several grueling laps of nose to tail racing in the ITA/ITB/ITC group. It was a blast to watch but when it's that tight things happen and fenders get bent. The train was there for several laps then all of the sudden the train was scattered. I'll let the parties involved speak to the incident.

Great event. Hot, but worth the trip.

                            Chuck B. had 'em covered.
Steve P. ran the gauntlet Saturday.

I was embarassed, when W8 and RR blue-flagged me as Betty White lapped me on her Hover-Round.

                            I really need:

                            1) Skill and Talent
                            2) 4.3 diff
                            3) Skill and Talent

All I know is that at one point in the slower IT race on Sunday, I looked over at the hairpin between 1 and 2, and saw a certain car parked across track, causing about 85% blockage in front of the 2nd-place car. Hilarity did not ensue.

                              Must've been on lap 17 - http://www.mylaps.com/results/showla...class=1&page=2

I had a lot of fun this weekend. Sat. race started out with me learning the track in the rain and obviously not learning the corner stations soon enough. I blew a yellow and passed Chuck. That got me a last place start for the race. It was fun running to the pointy end of the field and finished 3rd.
Sunday was a total different day. I messed up my shock settings and also went out on almost worn out tires. The car handled terrible and I felt like someone hit a hornets nest and all the A cars were on my tail. I held a defensive line and took a few good licks with the car before I lost the left front tire. I have some great video of a certain car hitting a lap ITC Rabbit and me not being able to stop when they blocked the track. Nashville is an easy pull and the track isn't that bad. Thanks to all the all the workers and organizers for a great weekend.
                                Steve
