I had some EBC pads when I first started Time Trialing, they worked pretty good but they couldn't hold up to the heat. The pad fell off the backing plate after 2 sessions on track. Glad I had spare Hawks in the toolbox. I'm not sure I'd want to sign up and be a guinea pig for EBC research.
