Nope. I was expecting this but hoping for the best. At the May NASA event some of their folks said they would not be back for some time if at all. I guess NASA-SE needs a new name since they don't travel as far west as metro Atlanta.

Roebling is back on their schedule this year in place of Barber on the weekend of May 22. BTW, they have all their events open now for registration at a significant discount ($150 off I think), so there are some good deals if you wanna do a race/track weekend in Georgia or the Carolinas.

I'm intrigued by the Bobby Rahal event on Barber's schedule. Gotta look that one up to see what it's all about.

It has moved. I believe Grand Am is a support race for the IndyCar weekend.

That is correct - Grand Am is April 10th. No word, yet, on which classes are running, exactly (or I just haven't looked it up, yet.)

The combo of Indy and Grand Am sound really "cramped" to me. I hope both will attract more fans instead of splitting them up. Can't wait for the new Indy and always the Grand Am Series.

Grand Am weekend has always had lots of holes to be filled by support series. These two combined should make a nice weekend without a lot of time fillers, such as the bikes that ran a couple years ago, the FRenaults that ran in '03, etc.

The IRL will be bringing Indy Lights as well as IndyCars, and Grand Am has 4 classes that can run together or separately, so there will be plenty going on for 4 days (including the probable test day on Thursday.)

I think they've been running similar weekends together for a year or more, at Watkins Glen and other tracks, so the schedule will be familiar to the participants.

Are those some single day events that I see? Perhaps we could schedule the off days for a PDX? Of course I'm sure someone has already thought of this...

Chuck, any idea how to get around the Indy car page and see the whole track schedule?

on the bottom of the indy page it gives you two options. one to go to the normal page and one to permanently bypass the indy page.

Lower left of the Indy page. Click on the icon and it will take you to a second page that has the 2010 Calender of events

This replaces the link I started this thread with. I couldn't find it for a while, because it's a bit buried.

Why do I keep racing these weird cars?
Why can't I just get a miata and be happy?
