Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    F&C Help Needed at Road Atlanta Dec 5-6, 2009

    All,

    I still need a few more experienced volunteers for the weekend, please sign up on-line or send me a quick reply to this request.

    TIMES/PLACES
    FRIDAY - 12/4 -
    Registration open 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Registration/Will-Call trailer

    SATURDAY - 12/5 -
    Registration open 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the Registration/Will-Call trailer
    F & C Meeting at turn 11 (or in Tunnel) 8:15 AM
    Green Flag - 9:00 AM; last scheduled green flag 4:40 PM

    SUNDAY - 12/6 -
    Registration not open on Sunday - see guard at gate if Sunday only - will advise if changed
    F & C Meeting at turn 11 (or in Tunnel) 8:30 AM
    Green flag - 9:00 AM; last scheduled green flag 4:35 PM


    Our final F & C event of 2009 is at Road Atlanta on December 5th and 6th.

    This is the last Atlanta Region SCCA trade off event for 2009. Come on out and check out the cars and operations of NASA while they run their Races, Time Trials and Drivers Ed over the weekend. Rumor has it that Butch Kummer will be joining them on the track for this event...Should be interesting to say the least. The event is Friday through Sunday but we are only volunteering for Saturday and Sunday...We are NOT covering the enduro on Friday.

    Registration is open on www.MotorsportReg.com. Similar to the August event we coverd for NASA we will need a minimum of 12-15 volunteers.
