  • For Sale HOLESHOT!! 1991 BMW e30 convertible

This is my first experience with any kind of virginity.

    It's a red-letter day.

I'm selling a 1991 BMW 318 convertible that has had an engine & transmission transplant.

The car's body is in very good shape, and so is the top. The old engine was a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder that threw a cam chain, so I removed it and replaced it with a chipped 1989 325is engine that came from a wrecked car. I also used the Getrag 260 5-speed transmission from the same wreck.

I retained the 4.10 LSD rear end from the 4-cylinder setup, so the car is quicker than a stock 325.

So far I've replaced the front control arm bushings (OEM M3 parts) front strut inserts, and a handful of other parts. The car has the rare 15 inch Euroweave BBS wheels (bought them used, from Germany)with brand new tires.

Needs seat covers, rear shocks, stiffer springs, a foirnt end alignment, and some TLC. Clean Georgia title. I can get you a complete set of OEM-style F & R seat covers for $600, and I'll even help you install them.

I also have a pair of rear springs from a 325is that I'll throw in. I also have an A/C compressor, condenser, and lines from a 325. It's all a bolt-on deal.

I'm looking at another e30 project, and I need cash. If anyone is looking for a cool little project car, I'll take my money back.

    $3200 firm.
