It's good that there is someplace to find info on TT. I have a couple comments, though.

The black background and small text makes it pretty much unreadable, especially with blue or red text.

You really need a page explaining what TT is, and how to get involved.

Make it easy to update, or it will stagnate, eventually.

I am a little confused about the points system. It seems that Level 2 Club Trial'ers are competing for points with the Level 3 Time Trial'ers. An example would be that Leon Drake (Level 2) received 9 pts for TGPR in the SM class, Daniel Hofmann (Level 3) recieved 6 pts, and myself, Mark Kilgore (Level 3) recieved 4 pts.

To me that doesn't seem right considering the differences in the requirements for the cars competing in the 2 classes. And even more so.....why did I just spend $2000 to do time trials when I could have spent $0 and still be competing with Level 3 TT'ers?!?!

        Any input?

But the site is much better. Ditto on the text being to small in some areas like on the main page, the committee members section.

The L2 guys are getting points toward the championship, but they won't be able to qualify unless they "upgrade" to L3 - there are only 3 L2 events on the schedule. Level 2 is an experienment this year in the SEDiv.

This was our attempt at giving folks an easy entry point to get them hooked and then reel them in. My brother is a special agent with the DEA. He said it works well for some of his... acquaintances.

For the text too small people, hold control and scroll up and down to change font size.

to the website, you guys might want to cut down on some of the animations on mouse over, they take up a lot of memory and don't really aid in keeping the site clean and flowy like the line on a race course. There's A LOT going on when you move the mouse around the page and it's kind of distracting.

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

Font is bigger now. Pictures still don't load right.
We all agree that the bouncing images are distracting, but they are part of the "package". We have some folks trying to figure out how to take that out.

As far as CONTENT goes... what do we need?
                1) What is TT/How to get started article.
                2)

Yeah the bouncing images each time you go to another screen is bad, REALLY BAD.

Hey guys... Sorry about the discontent on the website. Thanks for input and ideas for improvement.
To explain situation further, we had nothing... we had a TT site with incorrect information, no up to date results or accurate event schedule. We asked and asked for someone to take over the site and all we got was dead silence. While we have lots of web-savy members and IT professionals all over our SEDIV membership, no one was willing to step up to do the job. Then we tried to find someone to take over the site for pay... still silence. No one was able to find anyone. Finally after 6 + months, I offered to purchase a "canned software" package and get something up. I am not a webmaster, I am not a website designer, I don't do code, speak Russian or HTML. I was given a green light to purchase a $65 web package, buy a domain name and get something up which I did in 24 hours. Am I proud of it? No. Is it better than what we had... by default, Yes. Would I like it to be better? ABSOLUTELY. So, since we ALL have lots of ideas for improving it (me included), is there ANYONE out there that has :
A.) the desire to take over the TT site and do it right
                      or
B.) the knowledge to take this package and eliminate the negatives
I would appreciate it if you would contact me. THAT would be helpful and there is no ego here...I want a good site with a good image of our Time Trial program and would be delighted to hand it over to some one more worthy that has the needed skill sets. No problem, no hurt feelings. Who is willing to help?

I appreciate the input on dislikes and need for improvement... but what we really need is people with website design knowledge that can get involved to fix this and manage it properly.

Thanks for your patience. We'll get there!
                      Ted
