There's a spray on "paint" that you can just rub off, lots of VW guys use it when they go to shows to make things look hood... Duplicolor makes it, called "Car Art, temporary paint". Washes off with soap and water.

Mark and I went to the TAC event this past Sunday (yesterday as of this writing) and did pretty well. Mark was 6th PAX and I was 11th. There were several out of towners there, some passing through on their way to setting up for Crow Mountain, and some of the faster guys were not there. But overall we ran right in the group of the fast drivers.

Things are looking up for the South!! We will definitely be there for the event both days! I may even end up getting some Iron Cross stem caps for the spirit of the event!

PAX scoring, huh? I might need to hit up that event and do a 3 and done in BSP to save tires. But, we'll be on the "good" surface, right?

Neither region is Axis OR Allies. It was decided long ago that it's a North/South thing, Brother against Brother. As such, I'm not painting my car confederate grey just because I represent the south.

Is there any way to possible do a discount for themed cars? To make this an EVENT instead of just another autocross? It would be great to see some camo cars or painted fronts to match those of older aeroplanes.

Just a thought. It would be pretty cool if we actually made it an axis vs allies event to someone spectating.

Thanks Chuck .I am still weighing my options since I have yet to buy a set of wheels .

Since I am now running 2 cars ...I will have to explore the possibilities that will have the most interchangeability between the 2 .Ideally I need to be able to run the same tires between the 2 cars and both have 14,15,and 16" wheel possibilities within classes that i run them in .Ill let you know when I settle on a wheel choice.

Find a codrive Vince .How about you and Yoda take the mini ?Just a thought.Remember this is a pax based competition so obviously stock class cars and CSP cars have the best chance of making it into the top 10 .

i really want to go to both, but my street tires are completely shot... so.. anyone have a set of 4x114 rims that they dont mind give away for a few weeks? i wanna go to r comps on my factory oz wheels, but i dont have anything to get my to and from the track.. or anyone got the hookup at lkq(or other salvage company) and can get me another set of my rims for dirt cheap?
