FWIW, I've run on steelies since '07.....and never a bending (or any other) issue.
I agree with the weight factor though. And then put actual rally "tyres" on a steel wheel and and it's significant rotating mass. Oh well....
With all of that said......enter a turn too hot (or any other driver input error) and all of that performance stuff is kind of moot.
EDWIN- PA ? The wagon? I'm guessing it's not Caj's old car.

well I couldn't find a definitive answer... and since I really want to use the "square wheels" for something...
I will put the tires on them. also called H alloys... weird weird shape...
I wish I could find some of these though. and inch bigger and a factory option...
they look a lot like full on Rally wheels.

Those "H" wheels would be fine, as long as it doesn't get too muddy/mucky. With such small areas for "spokes" they could easily get gunked up with mud/wet grass which would cause cooling issues on the road ... or at least sling big chunks of stuff at you on the way home. Basically, those holes get clogged everything starts to build up in the wheel barrels if it has no where to go.Matt W.
