It wouldn't be any more dangerous than a day event. If I have less visibility I tend to not push as hard. So, it really would be a question of seeing the cones & knowing the flow of the course......

My idea would be to use glow sticks and attach a few to the cones....
Glow stick when bought in bundles are pretty cheap. Plus we can set-up a smaller course & have two run throughs or so....

Also, Sean is cutting the field. Its the hay season for them, so our next event should be nice without all the tall grass & swarms of grasshoppers. Plus, I'm sure in late October it will be much cooler & grass shouldn't be overgrown either...I say we can come up with something really fun for that event....

dangerous?.. if the safety steward thought that it was, you could just use a sweep car , or as TVR sometimes does, leave it to honesty... you think you hit a cone you go back and reset it at lower speed .........sounds fun let's do it!

oh! as far as not being able to see the cones as well (driver) you go a little slower "it's still the same for everybody" fun!

yeah I think that might be a bit on the dangerous side, but maybe and evening one, before it gets too dark..... and then have the camp fire, battle stories and SMORES!

I was thinking the same thing after reading Sara's post. Night rally would be nice, but we would need to see about the logistics of it.

Afternoon/night rallycross.1st run during the setting sun part of the day,2nd run after dark.
Sign up around 5,1st car off around 6:30.Lunch and when it is dark run the second run.Then a very large campfire after to sit around and tell lies.

Ok folks..Updated ADC points. Better late than never.

Seems like Ron Foley, Sara Tongsuvone, Chris Warren, Tim Boyett & Myself are running away with the Championship. Its ok because its midway throught the season. We have 5 more events including TVR & ALSCCA RX has double points event coming up in October. So lets make the most of it & hopefully you can be the 1st annual ADC champ.....

Really? I guess its a new engine then huh? Thats funny, because I was thinking of moving up to M2 also. Do you think the'll be a national M2 RWD class next year? Also that RX7 I have at the shop its yours if you still want it. I spoke with the owner today about it. New fuel pump & 2 new tires.

Edwin, Captain America won't debut until next year assuming that the new Modified Rear class is create - or - if my update/backdate rule gets approved (which is not looking likely).
