  • BMWCCA DE, Instructor and Race School

At Barber on the 29th and 30th. I just got an email for the club stating that they are in need of 4-5 more instructors.

That explains all the BMW's and Lotuses I saw coming back from ATL today.

I can't wait for an open day @ barber.

Had I known I would have been there. I click new posts at least once a day and this didn't show up until now. Bummer.

I had forgotten why I liked that station so much in the past - even the slow cars are pretty fast, there, because you're near the beginning of the braking zone, plus you get to see what's going on on the front straight, too.

                DE at Barber

Yes I would like to chime in here for a moment and say that everyone involved was really
nice and I had a wonderful time. I successfully completed the Instructor training school
part of the event. So any of the instructors that are currently working the events in
the southeast I would like for you to give me a shout sometime when you get a moment
and or anyone who knows the circuits and the various folks to speak with in order to get
myself started would be greatly appreciated. Contacts would be, email :
jnewcomb@uss.com or cell phone: 205-365-6059 I am looking to get started as soon as
possible and will be glad to help any clubs/organizations in the southeast. Thanks, John
